Visual Studio Toolbox Registration
   

The edtFTPnet/Express installer is designed to install its components in the VS.NET 2003 and VS.NET 2005 toolboxes.  If you find that the automatic toolbox installation failed, please follow the steps to manually add the components to the toolbox.  The procedure for Visual Studio 2005 is presented first, followed by the procedure for Visual Studio 2003.


Visual Studio 2005

Step 1 - Add a new toolbox tab and name it "FTP".

Step 2 - Select Choose Items in the new tab

Step 3 - Check the following items: ExFTPConnection, FTPConnectionEditor, FTPController, FTPLocalFileList, FTPRemoteFileList and FTPStatusBar.

Step 4 - Verify that all components appear in the FTP tab of the toolbox.

Visual Studio.NET 2003

Step 1 - Add a new toolbox tab and name it "FTP".

Step 2 - Select Add/Remove Items in the new Tab

Step 3 - Check the following items: ExFTPConnection, FTPConnectionEditor, FTPController, FTPLocalFileList, FTPRemoteFileList and FTPStatusBar.

Step 4 - Verify that all components appear in the FTP tab of the toolbox.
