Overview
CompleteAgent is a cross-platform client that is designed to perform secure, robust, automatic transfers to and from CompleteFTP servers. The automatic transfer of business files is a common task that CompleteAgent is specifically designed to solve. These transfers need to be reliable, robust and secure. Often, businesses resort to writing ad hoc scripts for this purpose. CompleteAgent makes this very straightforward, and no scripting is required.
On Windows, CompleteAgent is usually run as a Windows service. It continually monitors a designated local folder for new files and securely uploads them to a specified CompleteFTP server when they appear. Similarly, it also monitors a specified directory on the CompleteFTP server and downloads new files when they are found. It can also be run as a standalone application on both Windows and Linux (via .NET standard).

Requirements
CompleteAgent is a free client application that currently requires an Enterprise Edition CompleteFTP server to connect to. It can be freely installed on any machine that needs to upload (and soon download) files automatically. It is supported on Windows and on any platform that supports .NET standard.
Installation
CompleteAgent is installed automatically as part of the CompleteFTP trial, and is optionally installed by the production installer. In both cases, it is installed as a Windows service, but only the trial starts the service running automatically. It can also be installed simply by copying its files to a machine. It can then be run from the command line.
