Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Does my license ever expire?
A. No, your license never expires. A 12 month subscription means free upgrades and support for 12 months, but your license is valid forever.
Q. Can I redistribute your libraries with my application?
A. Yes, all our our libraries are royalty-free, and can be distributed freely with your application.
Q. I have purchased from your website. When will I receive my license?
A. You should receive your license by email within 24 hours of purchase, and usually much faster. Please contact us
if you have not received your license after 24 hours - the email may have been filtered out by your spam filters.
Q. I have development, test and production machines. What license do I need?
A. Our licenses are based on the number of developers working with the library, not on the number of deployments. You may deploy on as many machines as you wish - development, test
and production.

A. You need the Individual Developer License.

Contact EDT to obtain a discount code for web purchases.

Q. We are a multi-national group, and wish to use your product throughout our organization. What license do I need?

Q. What is a development team anyway?
A. A development team is a group of developers who work together on development projects.
Q. Can I upgrade from an Individual Developer License to a Team Developer License, or a Team Developer License to an Enterprise Developer License?
A. Yes, we are happy to upgrade you to another license for the cost of the price difference in the two products plus a small administration fee.
Q. Are product upgrades included when I purchase the product?
A. Yes, upgrades are free for 12 months after the date of purchase.
If the Lifetime Support/Upgrades option is purchased, upgrades are free for the lifetime of the product.
Q. Is technical support included when I purchase the product?
A. Yes, technical support is free for 12 months after the date of purchase. If the Lifetime Support/Upgrades option is purchased, technical support is free for the lifetime of the product.

must be negotiated if one of our products is embedded within a product you are selling (technical support is still valid for
developers within your organisation).

A. Yes, all licenses optionally include the product source code (for an extra fee).
