Update CompleteFTP 6.3.0 -> 8.0.1

by NicoB » Tue Jan 14, 2014 7:57 pm

Hello team,

I have a old version of CompleteFTP enterprise Edition.
I would like to perform an update of this version to enable cluster fonctionnality.

i don't want lost all users/virtual repositories and configuration during the process.
Backup .sdf files is enought for this or not ?

I have to uninstall 6.3.0 version and install new version or i can perform update directly ?

Thanks for your help.

kind regards,
N.B

Hi everyone,

I have been an issue during an upgrade with one of my server.

In this server, I have several local account use as non-windows user with CompleteFTP.
During the process all of my non-windows account have been "transform" on windows account.

I recreated account in completeFTP and now all works fine.

You know how this kind of problem can appear during an upgrade ?

Thanks,

N.B
